Shooting Practice
Get hands-on experience with three distinct small-bore rifles—each employing a unique operating principle and sighting method. This hands-on session gives you a well-rounded feel for different firearm types.
Before firing, a thorough firearm safety briefing ensures you’re comfortable and prepared. Shooting is carried out in a controlled range from about 30 meters, with one shooter at a time.
Prefer a friendly competition? We’ve got you covered—opt for an optional shooting contest to test your accuracy and focus in a fun, relaxed setting.
Your guide, Jari Ruusunen brings seasoned expertise as a hunter, certified firearms instructor, and long-time member of voluntary national defense forces.
Event Flow

Duration: Typically 4–5 hours for a group of 10.
Location: Idyllic countryside near Eura Turajärvi. Optional Upgrade: For those who want something more powerful, we can also arrange large-caliber firearm activities at the Harjavalta shooting range.
Firearms Familiarization
This experience offers a safe, guided introduction to various firearms—from pistols and rifles to hunting-specific models and more.
You’ll learn about different firearm types, their intended uses, and mechanics—and master the basics of safe handling, such as loading and clearing.
Hands-on practice includes magazine handling and mock reloading using dummy rounds—no live fire involved, just clean learning.
Duration: Around 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on group size and interest depth. This session is often offered as a complement to the shooting practice event—blending theory and hands-on experience in one day.
Ideal for both beginners and experienced shooters who want to build confidence and competence in a safe, supportive setting.
